Ananda Marga Qahira Sectorial Conference,
Swaida, Syria, March 9-12, 2006
 
Hotel of the Horse Riding Club of the Syrian Sport Union in Swaida. We are holding the sectorial conference in Syria for the first time. The conference will take place in a hotel owned by the Horse Riding Club of the Syrian Sport Union near the city of Swaida, in southern Syria.

During the past few years many people in Syria have learned Ananda Marga meditation and they will attend this conference in good numbers.

We cordially invite you to attend and enjoy this historic meeting.

 

Program

Kiirtan, meditation and lectures by Ananda Marga acaryas are the mainstay of any Ananda Marga conference, and this one will be no exception. In addition, there will be multi-media presentations of Ananda Marga's social work and cultural programs. On the 12th March there will be a public conference in Swaida.

Fees

$45 for margiis coming from outside Syria.

Please bring  a sleeping bag and personal toilet items.

How to Get There

If you are coming from outside Syria then the most convenient hub for travel is Beirut, Lebanon. We have a jagrti in Beirut and margiis will help you with the onward travel to Syria (in inexpensive shared taxis). Visas to Lebanon are given in the airport and when traveling by road into Syria, you can get a visa at the border.

If you come to Syria via Lebanon then you can get the visa for Syria at the border. If you are flying directly into Syria then you should check with your local Syrian embassy or consulate for exact information about the cost and application process.
